Set Up IPTV Smarters or IBO Player Pro on Samsung & LG TV

Configure your Evolution Box service using IPTV Smarters with Xtream Codes or IBO Player Pro with your MAC Address and Device Key.

Check Your Television

Samsung and LG televisions use their own operating systems and app stores. They do not normally install Android APK files.

✓ An active Evolution Box subscription
✓ A Samsung or LG Smart TV connected to the internet
✓ Access to the television app store
✓ Your Evolution Box activation information
Application availability and menu names may vary depending on the television model, software version, country and app-store region.
STEP 1

Find a Compatible Application

Open the App Store

On Samsung, open Apps. On LG, open the LG Content Store or Apps area.

Search for a Player

Search for IPTV Smarters or IBO Player Pro.

Install the Available App

Select a compatible result and install it. Some third-party players may require separate activation or an optional purchase.

Evolution Box does not own these third-party media players. Player activation charges, when applicable, are separate from the Evolution Box subscription.
OPTION A

Configure IPTV Smarters with Xtream Codes

Use this option if the installed application allows direct login with a username, password and server URL.

Choose Xtream Codes

Open the application and choose Login with Xtream Codes API or the equivalent Xtream login option.

Enter Your Information

Enter the username and password supplied in your Evolution Box activation email.

Add the Account

Select Add User or Login and wait while the application downloads the channel list.

Credentials are case-sensitive. Enter uppercase and lowercase letters exactly as provided and do not add spaces.
OPTION B

Configure IBO Player Pro with MAC and Device Key

Use this method if the application shows a MAC Address and Device Key or activation code on its opening screen.

Open IBO Player Pro

Open the application and wait for its device information to appear.

Take a Clear Photo

Take a photo showing both the MAC Address and Device Key.

Send It Through Live Chat

Send the photo through the official Evolution Box Live Chat so our team can configure the playlist.

Reload the Application

After support confirms the configuration, reload the playlist or restart the application.

PLAYLIST UPDATE

Refresh the Channel List

If recently added channels or content do not appear, update the playlist from the application settings or main screen, depending on the version installed.

Open Playlist Settings

Find the playlist-management or account section.

Select Update or Refresh

Select Update Playlist, Refresh, Reload or the corresponding option shown by your application.

Restart the Application

Close and reopen the application after the update finishes. Restart the television if necessary.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Common Smart TV Problems

The application does not appear in the store
Availability depends on the television model, country and store region. Search for another compatible player or use an external Fire TV Stick, Android TV or Google TV device.
Invalid username or password
Check uppercase and lowercase characters, remove accidental spaces and confirm the server URL is entered as http://evolution.cymru.
The playlist does not appear
Refresh or reload the playlist, close and reopen the application and restart the television.
Channels buffer or stop
Restart the television and internet router. Test several channels and use Ethernet or strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi when available.
The service works on another network
The internet provider or router may be restricting the connection. Smart TVs without Android may not support a regular VPN application, so an external Firestick or Android TV device may be easier to use.
When requesting assistance, send a screenshot or photo of the exact error, identify the television model and application, and provide the exact channel name if a channel does not open, buffers or stops playing.

Evolution Box supplies the television service. Third-party player activation or purchases are separate.

Check your activation email or sign in to the Evolution Box Client Area. Service credentials are different from the Client Area password.
What should I do if my television is incompatible?
